Dry Eye Therapy

What Is Dry Eye?

As its name implies, dry eye is a condition caused by a shortfall of natural lubrication or moisture in the eye. It is a relatively common problem for Canadians, many of whom have it at some point in their lives.

Usually a chronic condition, most sufferers of dry eye experience it repeatedly – sometimes in unpredictable cycles – as dry eye is a condition that can be brought changes in environment, seasons, lifestyle, overall health and other factors.

These tiny devices are inserted into the eyelids to slow the drainage of years away from your eyes, keeping your eyes moist for longer. They are not noticeable once inserted, and most people do not experience any discomfort.
